V10 Rear Instructions

Parts List:----------------------------------2 3/4x3 1/2 bolts----------------2 frame bracket clamps
1 LH axle plate---------------------------2 3/4 locknuts--------------------2 u-plates
1 RH axle plate-------------------------12 1/2x1 3/4 bolts----------------2 d-bushings
1 LH frame bracket--------------------12 1/2 locknuts--------------------2 7/16x2 1/2 bolts
1 RH frame bracket-------------------26 1/2 flat washers---------------2 locknuts
1 frame crossmember-----------------4 5/8x2 bolts--------------------4 flat washers
1 track crossbar--------------------------4 5/8 locknuts-------------------1 Sway Bar
2 sway bar drop links-------------------8 5/8 flat washers

1) Remove four nuts and washers from each of the the stock axle plates. Install the shorter (LH) plate on the LH side.Install longer (RH) plate on RH side. With clevis on bottom.
2) Install the frame brackets (LH is longer with track bar bracket) using the 5/8 bolts,nuts and washers.It is easier if the front bolt on each side is installed from the bottom.
3) Install crossmember using 1/2 x 1 3/4 bolts, nuts and washers.
4) Install drop links to sway bar-install a 1/2 washer between the sway bar and drop link.
5) Install sway bar to crossmember using 1/2 bolts,nuts, washers, d-bushings and u-plates, leave bolts loose at this time. Install drop links to axle plates using 7/16 bolts, nuts, and washers. (see note)
6) Tighten u-plates, Install track bar crossbar, Recheck torque on all fasteners.

Note- Rear drop links can be the type that installs through the axle plate with a bushing and washer top and bottom with a nut on the bottom.
